Does it make a difference where I purchase your music?

Yes it does.  I’m happy when you guys stream my songs.  But remember: streaming ***is NOT buying.*** So if you love a song, if you listen to it more than once or twice, please buy it!

If you purchase from Bandcamp then you are the best!  They are a truly great company!  Also you can put the songs on any device and stream them and own them forever! At Bandcamp you are buying straight from me, and you can either get physical CD’s or DRM-free high-quality audio in many different formats (even Ogg Vorbis and FLAC).  I also get about 90% of Bandcamp sales.  Amazon is where I don’t keep much of the $$, but a purchase there causes Amazon to recommend my music to more people — and I can always use more reviews!  CDBaby is a fine site to purchase music, and through them my music goes out to iTunes, Zune, Spotify, Napster, Tidal, Google Play, and most other online vendors.  Though I get much less revenue from those transactions — and you get less control over the music you bought.

International customers will find MUCH better shipping rates on CD’s at CDBaby and Bandcamp than Amazon.  Get your CD’s there if you’re not in the U.S.

You have plenty of choices. If you want to do me a favor though, buy from one of my preferred vendors, leave a review, and then tell a few friends or share some tracks with them for free!  I like it when you pass the music along.
